Things to Know Before Buying Weishi 9306-c Safety Razor

During the 1970, with advent of the multiple blade-razors, the use of the classic double-edged razors has been declining. IT was even brought down to an all-time low when electric and electronic razors came to light. People wanted to shave with less worries and with less effort. For a while, the traditional way of shaving was a bit forgotten. The younger generations only new of cartridge razors and electronic ones. The copper alloy is not really the best material for safety razors although it does not make the Weishi 9306 inferior to the other razors which are made from brass or stainless steel. It’s just that brass and stainless steel provide better durability and look better than copper.

  • User Friendly: 8/10

The decline of the traditional razors was because of the convenience and ease that newer type of razors are able to provide. Double-edged razors require you to do wet shaving and the right shaving practices. You get good results by using DE razors if you know what you’re doing.

  • Grip: 9/10

The handle of the razor textured which offers grip. The texture is in a form of corrugations. Newer designs like vertical line or spiraling lines offer better grip.

  • Ease of Blade Replacement: 10/10

Replacing the blade for the razor is quick and easy with its “butterfly” doors that open just by twisting the handle at the bottom.

  • Aggressiveness: 9/10

DE razors are known to be aggressive. That is why you are able to achieve that very smooth shave. The blades that come with the razor are fine but there are other blades that offer a very close shave.

The only thing you can do different with the razor is changing its blade. It works well with all shaving creams, lather, and soap.

A weight of 4 ounce makes this razor superior to other DE razors. This can be attributed to the density of the copper allow.

Costing at less than $15, no wonder people are finding their way back to the traditional razors.

DE razors made with good quality can last for a lifetime until they are replaced with better ones. This one is a good starter if think of looking for better and more expensive ones in the future. If you’re find with using a safety razor that can deliver what is needed of a razor, then this is also good permanent safety razor.
