Merkur #34C Heavy Duty Two Piece DE Razor Review

The hype for traditional and classic razors has returned to this century. People are now turning back to those days when accurate shaving solely depended on skill and the simple design of the razor. Straight razors and double-edged razors are usually the type of razors that experienced shavers use. Not only do they provide a very clean and close shave, they also cost a whole lot cheaper than those modern multi-bladed and electric razors. They are more eco-friendly as well.

Merkur Heavy Duty Double Edge Razor #34C is one of those very traditional and straightforward DE razors. It’s made from stainless steel and manufactured all the way from Germany like most of the metal razors by Merkur.

The handle of the razor is designed to provide the best grip. It is quite short compared to the common safety razors. This is for users who are accustomed to the original designs of traditional razors. A Merkur platinum coated razor blade goes with the razor.
